ALERT - Call to ACTION! 

Family, 

We care about housing equity, the environment (high levels of toxicity that residents of New Orleans are exposed to), development plans in the city, criminalization and Black lives. 

The 53 residents of Gordon Plaza (Black folk) are suffering, after losing family members to death by cancer, and other illnesses. Right here in New Orleans!

The Residents of Gordon Plaza were sold homes built on the former Agriculture Street TOXIC dump. They were not told this at the time of their purchases. Now this area is deemed as a Superfund Site due to the extreme toxicity levels (more than 100 dangerous toxins found in the soil).

The Gordon Plaza residents are holding a Press Conference on Tuesday, February 7 at 1:30pm, on the steps of New Orleans City Hall. 

This press conference precedes solution oriented revisions to the city's Master Plan, that the Gordon Plaza residents will present in City Hall's Council Chambers following the press conference. You are NOT going to want to miss the information that they will share. It may affect the soil that your own home or residence is on too.
