I Am a beginner in system verilog (i just started yesterday). I wrote 2 programs, out of which there was no problem with the 1st one but after writing the 2nd one, i can't save it. There's this "*" sign over save button constantly. I am using the cadence simulator and i can see the epwave but no matter how many times i retype my code, i can't save it. While at the same time i can modify the 1st code and save it as well but not the 2nd one. I don't think my code has any bugs but can anyone please help me??
I am writing a code to implement two boolean functions
f = x'y' + xy and  g = x'yz + xyz' + x'y'z' + xyz

That's a new one on me. I'm sorry you are having problems with EDA Playground. I don't recognise that browser: what browser is it?

I am using chrome. I am pretty sure that the error i am facing is in the design section and not in the test bench. Although I don't know what in the design section is preventing me from saving the whole program.

Please could you post the URL of the code?

No i cannot. When I go to share the link of the program, the program is empty. I have tried this multiple times but the link always comes out empty and I have to retype everything. Well it doesn't matter cause even after retyping the code again and again, it doesn't save.

Update:-
I can save the program now. The error was in the design code. After literally trying for 48 hours and trying all sorts of things, the problem was solved by simply removing all the comments from the structural modeling section. I don't know how comments affected the code so much that i couldn't save it.

I'm glad to hear it works now. Did you perhaps copy and paste the comments from somewhere else? If so, perhaps there were some weird characters in there.

No there were none. I myself typed the program including comments multiple times

Now you have managed to save it, please could you send me the URL. I will type the comments in myself (from your screenshot) and see if I can get to the bottom of this.

I put all the comments back and got no problem. I expect there was some other problem and removing the comments was coincidental.

I don't know then. All I did was retyped the whole code once and then ran it. It still wasn't saving the program so I tried removing the comments and then the problem was solved.
