Unable to access Aldec Riviera Pro - Account Validation Issue

Hi EDA Playground team,

I’m using EDA Playground for learning SystemVerilog/UVM.

Previously, I was able to use Aldec Riviera-PRO on EDA Playground. After restarting my Mac and returning to EDA Playground, I noticed that Riviera-PRO now requires account/company validation.

I’m using EDA Playground for personal learning and do not have a company account associated with my usage.

Could you please clarify whether Riviera-PRO is currently available to individual users for learning, and if so, what I need to do to get access?

I have already contacted EDA Playground support by email regarding this issue as well.

Unfortunately, we have had to restrict access to Riviera Pro due to unauthroised use. You now need some kind of company or university or similar email address to use it. We have not made any kind of public announcement about this yet, because it is still unclear what the final situation will be.
