I have used Jing extensively for the past year, but I never used the
upload to Screencast capability. (I used it to capture images which I
pasted into my Powerpoint lesson plans).

I upgraded to the latest free version of Jing, but when I go to
capture the image or video, I do not get the icon to upload to
Screencast. I get the the image/video into the editor, and would
expect the icon to upload it.

I spent time at Jing and Screencast looking for help but couldn't find
a solution. When in Jing under preferences, there should be a
"change" icon that would allow me to "synch" with screencast, but I
cannot find that icon either.

I am fairly new to Apple. I tried to uninstall Jing, reinstall, and
have it go through the setup where I would be asked about screencast.
However, I don't think I know how to properly uninstall Jing because
when I go to reinstall, it does not go through any setup.

Sorry for the long post, but does any one have any clues for me?
Unfortunately I cannot be on the call tonight, and thus am using the
Google group.

Al and everybody,

I think you may need to create an account on http://screencast.com/ before saving videos to it. I am adding this recommendation to this week's task grid in hopes it helps.

You are welcome to use another screencasting tool if you like something else, as well.

You can submit your question to the Jing's tech support forum: http://www.jingproject.com/support-choose.asp
