Hello,
UCLA’s Graduate Mentoring
Program (GMP) is proud to announce our summer Graduate School
Preparation
course. GMP is opening up enrollment to either six week Session A (Jun
21-Jul 30) OR Session C (Aug 02-Sep 10) to UCLA and nonUCLA
students. You do not have to be a UCLA student to enroll in this
course.
Please share with any current
UCLA undergraduates, alum or nonUCLA students that might be interested
in attending one of our six week sessions. The six week course will
be held on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00pm and is designed to help students
familiarize themselves with academic disciplines they would like to
pursue in graduate school. Through course readings, guest speakers,
and interactive assignments, students learn more about their graduate
school options and how to navigate the overall application process. The course will be facilitated by current UCLA graduate and PhD
students.
- UCLA students you can enroll
through 'MyUCLA' or to avoid costs and unit accumulation UCLA students
can fill out the application (see application link below) and enroll
through the GMP office.
- NonUCLA students can apply
for the course by submitting the Grad Prep course application (see link
below).
Course Requirements - students must:
- attend ALL 6 classes held
on campus at UCLA
- complete assignments and required readings
- actively participate
- respect the values and ideas
of other students
We hope to see you this summer!
