Hello friends,

The Council of Youth Research is a community of high school students, teachers, and graduate students who engage in participatory action research to challenge educational inequalities and improve schools and communities. We would like to invite you to join us for a special event this Friday, July 29th, at UCLA. Our students will be presenting research proposals that they have developed for action projects that they will be working on during the school year with local community organizations. They are interested in beginning a dialogue with the community about the work that they are planning and would appreciate it greatly if you could attend. We encourage you to join us and learn more about our students' powerful and transformative work.

Here are the details:

What: Council of Youth Research Proposal Presentation
Where: UCLA, Moore Hall Reading Room (Room 3340)
When: Friday, July 29 - 1:00 - 2:15pm

Please feel free to contact Nicole Mirra at (646) 872-4930 or nicole...@gmail.com if you have any questions about the event or would like to RSVP. We hope to see you on Friday!

Thank you,
