My birthday is Saturday, I'd like to spend it with y'all as much as possible.

First: Karaoke tonight at Dark Horse in Boulder. It starts at 9, but I have improv rehearsal until 9, so let's plan on starting at 9:30. Bring anyone and everyone you want. Here's the link: http://darkhorsebar.com/weekly-events/

Second: Improv tomorrow at Wesley Chapel. The show starts at 7:30 and tickets are $7 at the door. Probs going out for a drink afterward.

I have been sick, so I am sticking in tonight, but am hoping to be on the up by tomorrow.  Similarly, I am bummed I missed out last night.  I had to finish reading for today's class while I drank lots of tea- hoping I would be back to normal energy levels by today, but alas....

[Samuel Severance]

So, Sara and I welcomed our baby into the world late Wednesday night, a
boy: Sean Joseph Severance. 8 lbs., 21.5 inches long.

We went to the hospital Tuesday night after Sara's water broke. It was a long
24 hours of labor with no shortage of complications and eventually Sean had
to be delivered via c-section. But he is healthy and Sara is recovering well
from the surgery. We should be able to check out of the hospital and go
home tomorrow or Sunday.

Thank you all for your support during the pregnancy and for your thoughts
and well wishes! Hope to see you all at the school soon. Attached is a
picture of Sean wrapped up like a burrito.

Sam!  Congratulations to you and Sara!  I hope everyone has made it home by now and recovering. 

If you and Sara are open to it, Matt and I would like to drop dinner off sometime in the coming weeks.  Since Matt's out of town this coming weekend, maybe next, or maybe I could just drop something off myself on a Monday or Tuesday evening?  We won't stay, just a quick stop to say hello, leave you a meal and head on our way.

We're happy to help.  Please let us know if we can do anything to support.
