[Elizabeth Schlessman]

Hi All-

I wanted to let you all know that I've made the decision to leave the program and return to teach in the classroom next fall. 

While I will certainly miss the learning opportunities of the doctoral program, I am looking forward to immersing myself once again in the rich complexities of the elementary classroom. 

Thank you for all of your support throughout the past year.  It has been an honor to get to know you. Thank you for all you've taught me.  I look forward to keeping in touch.

I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving the program.  I do hope you enjoy going back to the classroom.  There is a part of me that is extremely jealous of your choice.  Be well.  I hope some stuff from this program will serve you as a teacher.
