stop a swarm

everybody knows the swarm leaves with the OLD QUEEN.  what if before she leaves....and you have

other cells in place (swarm or superscedure cells).  you take the old queen and some frames and

start a NUC?  will it stop your swarm????  i'm thinking about trying this.  maybe this is the "best timing"

to do splits?

i don't see swarming as a disaster...i see it as an opportunity for a new queen! (baring any disasters)

Sounds good to me.

just wondering if you have an open space in your storage shed for two weeks.  We are putting drywall in our garage later this summer.  and I need to store some things outside under a tarp or store somewhere for two weeks.
