i take a "wad" of cappings in my hands and squeeze and knead it under WARM WATER in the sink...what comes out is something
that looks like a bread dumpling. the warm water dissolves the honey down the drain. squeeze and knead until you get something that's
pretty SOLID and rinsed of honey.
from there, these balls go into a slow cooker (or double boiler) to melt....(a relatively low heat so as not to start it on fire)
pour melted wax into STYROFOAM CUPS/or bowls
as they cool...the clean wax will skin over the top.
when completely cool - tear away the styrofoam....your honey/dirt (on the bottom) can be once
again rinsed away down the drain....the clean wax on top.
you can do it all over again if you want it really clean...(i don't)
the first couple cups you pour will be almost all wax....the subsequent will be less and less...
