All,

ECV Cyclocross Practice in ON for tomorrow Wednesday, 10 October at 5:00pm at Bradley Palmer State Park.

I'll post a reminder each week on this email list and update you on any cancellations due to bad weather, etc (a little rain will not stop us!).

Please read and understand these important points:

- New this year, everyone will need to sign in; just a standard waiver form
- ECV has a permit to run these cross sessions. Please don't do anything to jeopardize securing permits for the future.
- the ECV cross practice is not a race! If you are riding
and see pedestrians, recreational bikers or horse riders nearby, show courtesy! Slow down, maybe even stop, say hello
-
You're very welcome to attend ECV Cross Practice, even if you're not an ECV member but please keep it hush, hush. Don't
invite a bunch of your friends.
- If you're new to cross and need some pointers, please arrive at the
park promptly at 5:30pm and we'll give you a cross 101 primer.
- For those who are new to these practices, I purposely do not over
publicize these because we try to keep the numbers of those attending
low. There are other users in the park and we cannot get in the way. The permit does not mean we own the park.
All it takes is complaints from one or two upset pedestrians to keep us out of the
park.
- While we don't require participants to be ECV members, why not show the host club you care by joining? https://www.bikereg.com/Net/14951

Parking Situation:

You can either park at Cutler School and ride down (it's only about a
5 minute ride) or park at the Bradley Palmer lot directly across from
the Pingree School. There is also a parking lot off the Asbury Street entrance to BP and bike to the practice area. The course is centered near the kid’s fountain area, off the paved road as you enter from the Pingree side gate.

Get Directions to Cutler School: 237 Asbury Street, South Hamilton, MA 01982-1839

*** Note - In the past (before my time), there have been car break-ins at Bradley
Palmer and other North Shore parks. Some of us park at Cutler School 10 or 15 minutes prior to practice and then pedal down to the park. I would recommend
this.

Notes

My having people join this email list is a way for me to keep some
control over
the numbers of those who attend.  If you would like to be part of this group and receive emails from the group pertaining to cross practice then create a membership at the following:
