Mwine Ntare Guma
Mbaho Mwine is an actor, photographer, director and playwright, and a dual
citizen of Uganda and
America. TV acting credits
include guest starring roles on “The Newsroom,” “Bones,” and recurring
roles on HBO’s series "Treme," "Heroes," "The Riches," "ER" and "CSI."
Feature film acting credits include “Blood Diamond” and “40.” Film
directing credits include “Kuhani,” which is set to premiere at the
African International Film Festival and “Beware of Time,” which was
selected as Best Film at the Berlin Black International Cinema Festival.
Theatre acting credits include leading roles at The Public Theater, The
Steppenwolf Theatre, The Kennedy Center, The Lincoln Center and Center
Theatre Group. Ntare's photographic work has featured in Vanity Fair and
exhibited at Blue Sky Gallery, The United Nations, Rush Arts Gallery, the
UCLA Fowler Museum, The Latino Art Museum, and has been featured on HBO's
"Six Feet Under."
Rasha
Salti Rasha Salti
is programmer for African and Middle Eastern Cinema at TIFF. Rasha is an
independent film and visual arts curator and writer. From 2004 until 2010,
she was the film programmer and creative director of the New York based
non-profit ArteEast where she directed two editions of the biennial
CinemaEast Film Festival (2005 and 2007). Rasha has collaborated with a
number of organizations, including the Musée Jeu de Paume in Paris, SANFIC in Santiago de Chile, and The Tate
Modern in London.
Anthony
Morgan For a brief
time in his teen years, Anthony Morgan was an actor. Now, he is a lawyer
and the Human Rights, Equity and Diversity Advisor at Humber College in Toronto. He is passionately committed to
social justice and serving the principles of equity, civic engagement, and
multiculturalism, interests he often explores as blogger for the
Huffington Post Canada. In 2009-2010, he served
as President of the Black Law Students’ Association of Canada. Anthony
maintains an active interest in matters concerning Black Canadian social
and political affairs, and Caribbean
diaspora politics.
