Thanks a lot for the info, I had similar issues although not a mac system. I was able to find the recovered files as u stated above, but the problem still persist as my c4d work keeps crashing over and over again when working on a project and it gets really annoying. I was advised to update my graphic card driver in my system and that miraculously solved the problem. I hope someone else finds this useful too.
After trying to figure out what's wrong for a few days I think I've finally worked it out (maybe?). It seems that the system is quite over-zealous when it comes to shutting itself down, any break in the opitcal audio feed and the system shuts off. The shut down process is quite slow and i was mistaking this for the system crashing.
This is handy when I turn my TV off as it means I don't need to turn the home cinema off but It seems a bit over-sensitive in that the small break in the audio feed when you press play on a Sky recording (whilst sky loads the recording) causes it to shut down. The break in the feed is maybe 1-2 seconds.
There are a few reasons why apps crash. Corruption, poor coding or some protection or security measure within your phone OS. As long as you have a good wireless connection, Cinema HD should usually work fine.
As with any troubleshooting methodology, we begin with the easy stuff and work up to the more involved tasks. That way, we do the least amount of work to get you up and running again. Follow these troubleshooting steps to hopefully stop Cinema HD crashing on your device.
When you close an app, your device keeps a copy of any cached data in case it needs it again. Rebooting a phone will clear some of the cache but not all of it. A manual clearing should have Cinema HD up and running again.
Jio Cinema has become a one-stop entertainment hub in India. Jio Cinema allows you to watch live sports, movies, and the Live Tata IPL. But If your are facing problems with the Jio Cinema app while watching IPL or movies. In this article, I have shared how to fix Jio cinema not working on Android.
The Jio Cinema app is available for Android phones (TVs) and iPhones. However, the JioCinema website can be accessed from any browser on PC (computer) or laptop. But when IPL starts, a large number of viewers come to the Jio Cinema app simultaneously, due to which the Jio Cinema server crashes. In such a situation, the Jio Cinema application does not work properly.
However, Jio Cinema users sometimes face technical problems. So if you are also one of those Jio Cinema users, then you must follow the eight methods given below to fix Jio Cinema not working on Android phones.
The Internet is very important to run the Jio Cinema application properly. Without the internet, you will not be able to use JioCinema. Many times, if the internet connection on your phone is weak or not working, you may face problems with Jio Cinema. For this, first of all, check the internet connection on the phone.
If the Jio Cinema app keeps stopping or crashing on your phone, a simple phone restart can sometimes resolve your Jio Cinema app issue. Sometimes there is a problem in the configuration between your phone and the Jio Cinema app, which we can fix by restarting.
If you are continuously using the JioCinema app on your phone, then the cache file of the app gets saved on your device. Due to this, the Jio Cinema app does not open on the phone or keeps crashing continuously. So if there is an outdated cache in the Jio Cinema app on your phone, then you can fix the problem by clearing it quickly.
Sometimes outdated apps do not work properly on mobile phone. Due to which users get upset. So if you are also using an outdated version of the Jio Cinema app on your phone, then you should quickly update it by going to the Google Play Store. Many bugs or errors get fixed with the new update.
If you updated the JioCinema app, cleared the cache, and even logged out and logged in, JioCinema is still not working, so now you need to uninstall this app from the phone and reinstall it. After this, log in again with the phone number, and then see whether JioCinema is working properly or not.
If you have followed all the above-mentioned methods and are still facing problems at Jio Cinema, then you should chat with the support team at Jio Cinema. Possible troubleshooting will be explained to you by the team. You can talk to the Jio Cinema team by emailing sup...@jiocinema.com.

I love the film industry, I love going to the cinema, I dont believe the industry is dieing (I think it needs to evolve) and from my time working at CompareTheMarket.com and helping to grow our Meerkat Movies product, I know I'm not the only one who loves the cinema and how big a role it can play in our lives.
The Cinema is one of the standing bastions of family entertainment, it's a hyper sensory experience and it's a place where your attention is more focussed on a single thing than any other time of your life (isn't it nice not being distracted by your phone!)
I get excited going to the cinema and normally, when going to the flicks, I'd just rock up on a given day and buy my ticket at the box office, it's what I'd done for the last film I saw during the pandemic (In The Heights, a brilliant masterpiece)
However this time I wanted to book seats next to some friends who were already going (eager to watch the latest Bond film), so I thought I'd use the amazing Odeon App and Website which "make going to the cinema even more fun", I mean what a premise your digital offering right?
If only that were true, in total, I (a digitally savvy shopper) spent just shy of 90 minutes of crashing websites, forms not working, pages loading too slowly, having to re-enter information 3-4 times and pages not designed for the right devices, I had to call a time of death and give up.
If someone from Odeon is reading this, or even if you're interested heres the small list of challenges I found the following, which are all what I'd call basic faux pas, these things can be easily rectified and are almost a minimum expectation when using a modern digital vendor.
For 18 months cinemas have had limited trade, and prior to this the industry was facing challenges in attendances (especially outside of blockbuster titles) Customers in other spheres of their shopping are being super served (supermarket retail, online shopping, social apps, even utility providers) and yet this entertainment provider hasnt yet realised the opportunity infront of them.
Make it slick & effortless to book a ticket, remember who I am, where I am, reccomend a film to me based on what you know, offer me a deal if I look like I'm falling out of my booking cycle, incentivise me to buy more than one ticket to bring a friend. It's this stuff that will make me come back more often, see more films, spend more money and make me wedded to the Odeon brand over going to Vue or Showcase or even picking one of my many streaming services and my sofa.
Long-time "Rocky Horror Picture Show" veteran performer Shawn Stutler is bringing the cult classic here to Rutherford. Fans and "virgins" alike are invited over at the Frankenstein Place - or rather, the Williams Center for the Performing Arts in Rutherford on Feb. 13 - to put on their fish nets, do the time warp again and see a preview of the upcoming documentary, "Rocky Horror Saved My Life."
The longest running film in cinema history, the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a cult classic musical about a couple on their way to see an old colleague one stormy night when their car breaks down, and they end up seeking shelter in an old castle nearby, where they end up crashing a party being held by an alien mad scientist, his creation and his depraved followers - a unique spin on classic sci-fi/horror B movies.
For the "virgins" - or those who have never attended a live screening - going to the show is hardly your average trip to the movies. Performers and audience members dress up as the characters or in their burlesque best, dancing in the aisles, yelling out call back lines and using props to join the action on screen. Although the Williams Center asks the audience not to throw things that could damage the screen, like hot dogs, other classic props are welcome, like a newspaper to keep you dry or flashlights for when Brad and Janet get caught in the rain.
