Demo doesn't work in IE8

I just ran the demo that was provided in Aaron Gustafson's article in
A List Apart -- http://ecsstender.org/demos/spoon/.

It works in FireFox, but not in the version of IE8 I have running on
my computer.

Right. I should add a disclaimer: it won't work in IE right now. Some of it *may* work in IE9. Mainly it comes down to the fact that I have not had the time to work on porting the extensions to IE in all cases. And then there's the filter stack issue, which I desperately need to do a post on I think.
