I'm unable to get eCSSextender to work on my site and I'm wondering if
it a cross-domain issue.

Currently we serve CSS files from a multiple static hostnames, so the
CSS will be served from a different domain than the javascript. Can
eCSStender use XMLHttpRequest to load thoese cross-domain resources?

For better or worse, eCSStender still works within the confines of the same-origin policy. We may adjust the XHR implementation to use the newer, cross-domain setup, but it's probably going to be a little while. And, apart from Firefox, I'm not sure who's supporting it yet. Do you know otherwise?
