The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences invites applications for
a position at the rank of
JUNIOR PROFESSORSHIP (W1) in POLITICAL SCIENCE (International
Comparative Political Economy)
to commence in September 2013. The position is available for a period
of six years, with an initial term of four years and a second term of
two years subject to successful evaluation.
Applicants should have a strong research background in quantitative as
well as qualitative comparative political economy. Your research
should focus on at least one of the following fields: Comparative
Analyses of Social and Economic Policies, Public Finance,
International Trade and Finance or Development Policy. An outstanding
Ph.D. as well as publications and teaching experience are a
prerequisite for a successful application.
Applicants are expected to engage in transdisciplinary work
(particularly with regard to economics) and to share the faculty’s
focus on institutional theories. You will contribute to the teaching
of Comparative Political Economy in the Institute of Political Science
at the University of Heidelberg.
