| ECP is seeking a membership coordinator for Storke Family Student Housing Garden. The garden is a plot-based community garden, meaning that most of the garden is divided into plots that are managed by separate garden members. The management of the garden plots recently transitioned from Residential and Community Living to the Edible Campus Program in Summer 2025. With this transition, we are looking for interns to help us develop new relationships with the garden members, renew garden agreements, increase engagement in the garden, recruit new garden members, and increase compliance with garden rules. The intern will also develop programs to support garden members such as mentorship programs and workshops. These programs will expand collaborations among members, provide resources and training to members, and encourage members to participate in volunteering towards collaborative projects and joint spaces in the garden.
**Please note that to apply for this position you must be an undergraduate student who will have an on-campus UCSB housing contract and be an enrolled student in the 25-26 academic year. Work study applicants preferred but not required. |

SPECIAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY ON CAMPUS!
UCSB Sustainability is partnering with local city and county governments and the CEC to host the Central Coast Sustainability summit at the Corwin Pavilion on October 15th. The event brings together elected officials, staff, faculty, and interested parties from local governments and organizations to discuss common sustainability issues, share best practices, and seek partners.
We are seeking your support to assist with passing around microphones during the question and answer, help at the registration table, etc. You can sign up by clicking the button below to be an event volunteer. This is a great way to see some great talks for free and support our community to be more sustainable. |
