Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where sustainability meets creativity, brought to you in collaboration with AS Recycling! Learn how to recycle and reuse common household items—like cans, jars, and old containers—as unique planters for your garden or windowsill. We’ll cover the basics of container gardening, how to choose the right plants, and tips for maintaining your eco-friendly creations. | 🐛 Saturday Morning Live - Garden Volunteering Saturday Morning Live is a garden volunteer event hosted by Edible Campus Program that occurs every Saturday at gardens and farms in the Isla Vista and UCSB community. You can either meet the Volunteer Coordinator at the IV Food CO-OP at 10:30AM and walk to the garden together, or you can head to the garden on your own. No garden experience needed to volunteer with us, can't wait to see you there! Location: 3 Sisters & 4 Directions (Maps) Note: This garden is a part of the USCB West Campus FSH Community Gardens Time: Saturday, May 24th @ 11AM - 1PM (2 hours) |
