Dear ECP Community,

We hope you're having a great start to your Week 10. Remember to take time to yourself during this busy period. Please see below for our end-of-quarter updates!
-------------------
1) Spring Workshop Preview + I.V. Green is Back!
We host a variety of different workshops every week. Some are "garden education," where we teach you the basics of growing your own food at home or in a garden. Others are "nature wellbeing," which are more focused on mindfulness and getting you outside in nature! All are welcome to attend any of our workshops. Please find descriptions, locations, and times by clicking on the sign up links below.
Our I.V. Green workshop series w/ AS was a success throughout winter quarter, so we're bringing it back for Spring! This is a free workshop series that will meet throughout the quarter to walk you through the basics of gardening. It is recommended to come to as many workshops in the series as possible, but it is not required.

2) Send us workshop suggestions for Spring!

If you have any new workshops you would like to see from ECP, please send your ideas to Apphia Tran - apphi...@ucsb.edu!

3) Isla Vista Garden Clubs - Not Meeting During Dead Week!
We host weekly garden club meetings at St. Michael's Community Garden & Methodist Community Garden. This is a great space to make new friends and become a leader in our community by helping decide what we plant. No sign up is necessary, just bring yourself!
  • St. Mike's Garden Club meets from 4-5pm on Wednesdays
  • Methodist Garden Club meets from 2:30-3:30 on Fridays.
We will have Garden Club during Week 10, but not during dead week.

4) No SMLs / Garden Volunteer Days Until Spring Quarter
We won't be holding our regular volunteer days this week, next week, or during Spring Break. If you have questions about other ways to get involved, please reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Connor - sa-ecpv...@ucsb.edu

That's all for this week's newsletter. Thank you for supporting our program. GOOD LUCK ON FINALS!

Best,

Elizabeth Lane
