Workshops
Tour of West Campus Community Garden (10/28) (5-6pm)
Join us for a tour of one of our Isla Vista Community Gardens! We will give a little history about the garden, describe how to get involved, and tell you about what we are growing. This week, we will be visiting the West Campus Community Garden.
Understanding Santa Barbara Seasons: Learning What Plants Are in Season (10/30) (10-11am)
Improving your garden's rate of success can be done with one simple action: planning. We will explore the difference between warm-season and cool-season plants, what a plant hardiness zone is, and how frost can affect your garden so you can plan what to grow throughout the year.
Tour of Greenhouse and Garden Project (11/4) (4-5pm)
Join us for a tour of one of our Isla Vista Community Gardens! We will give a little history about the garden, describe how to get involved, and tell you about what we are growing. This week, we will be visiting the Greenhouse and Garden Project.
Have a plant that's looking a little unhappy? Our Plant Doctor Workshop is a space to ask questions and learn what might be going wrong. Whether your leaves are browning, your plant has stopped blooming, or you're unsure how much to water, bring the plant or photos and we'll work through solutions together. Leave with help on how to get your plant back on track.
Expanding Your Plant Varieties (11/8) (10-11am)
We all love our cherry tomatoes, zucchini, and bell peppers - but have you ever wondered what else your garden can grow? Join us to discover unique and delicious edible plants that can expand the variety of your home garden. We'll explore heirloom varieties, winter gardening, companion planting, and caring for new garden selections.

Garden Plots Available!
The Greenhouse and Garden Project is offering garden plot memberships for ANYONE interested in growing their own plants, flowers & crops. Garden plots are a great way to grow vegetables/fruits you can't find anywhere else. They are a great outlet to get started with gardening and are also a great place for experienced gardeners. If you are interested in getting involved with our garden community, please email Seth at ghgp...@gmail.com. Our membership fee is only $40 per year and gets you access to land, water, mulch, manure, and a robust tool shed. We also ask that members volunteer in the garden 2 hrs each quarter. GHGP provides plots to staff, faculty, and students, and we have ample space for all three communities. We hope to see you in the garden soon!

We hope to see you soon at any of our events!
