🌊 Lead workshops and wildlife appreciation walks highlighting coastal ecosystem-safe gardening
🧑🌾 Educate fellow gardeners on reducing microplastics, water pollution, and pesticide use

Join the Garden Buddy Network! We will connect you with one of the gardens in Isla Vista or on campus you can be their garden buddy! This is a low intensity volunteer program where you will help with watering and weeding. Usually garden buddies volunteer for 1-2 hours at a time when they are free. There are so many benefits to gardening, mentally, physically, and health wise, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to get your hands dirty and help a buddy out!

Saturday Morning Live (SML) is our weekly garden volunteer series where students and community members of all experience levels can learn new skills and explore a different garden in Isla Vista each week.
