| Central Coast Sustainability Summit |
|
| |
|
| UCSB Sustainability is partnering with local city and county governments and the CEC to host the Central Coast Sustainability summit at the Corwin Pavilion on October 15th. The event brings together elected officials, staff, faculty, and interested parties from local governments and organizations to discuss common sustainability issues, share best practices, and seek partners.
We are seeking your support to assist with passing around microphones during the question and answer, help at the registration table, etc. You can sign up here as an event volunteer. This is a great way to see some great talks for free and support our community to be more sustainable. |

| | While anyone is welcome to harvest fresh produce for free from the blue painted shared beds at St. Michael's and Methodist Community Gardens, Garden Club members play a bigger role -- helping decide what gets planted, caring for the crops, and often getting the first pick of ripe produce. By joining, you'll be supporting local food access, reducing food miles, and practicing climate-friendly agriculture! It's also a great way to make new friends, especially at the beginning of the school year.
✅ Open to all experience levels and ages ✅ Tools are provided -- just bring yourself! |
