New additions to the USPSA Production gun list
USPSA
Several new firearms have been added to the USPSA approved gun list for Production division. These include the Sig 320 X5, the CZ Shadow 2 and several guns in the Canik line, including the TP9SFX, all in 9mm. Manufacturer supplied weights for given barrel lengths are listed along with the model number. Note that the addition of firearms to the Production list is manufacturer driven: USPSA does not solicit guns for the list, nor do we hold publication to the list once the gun has been inspected and the proper paperwork submitted by the manufacturer.

Carry Optics guns

With the addition of guns to the Production list, approval for Carry Optics is usually automatic. There is a maximum weight limit in Carry Optics, however, so if you are planning to make a Carry Optics gun, please confirm that it will be at or under the maximum weight of 45 ounces for that division. That includes an empty magazine. With the change in the provisional Carry Optics division appendix allowing 140 mm magazines, weights may change significantly. It's a good idea to check the weight of your gun with an empty magazine prior to heading out to your next match.
