USPSA - Earned Slots for Factory Gun Nationals Have Been Issued

Hello Eastern Colorado Section,



Early on Sunday afternoon I received the Eastern Colorado Section slots for
the 2026 Factory Gun Nationals, to be held September 18-20, in Hurricane,
UT. We were awarded 7 slots based on our section’s 2025 match participation
in Carry Optics, Production, Revolver, and Single Stack. I sent an email a
short while ago to each of those who earned ECO Section Slots. Per our
ECOUSPSA bylaws

%20Final.pdf> , distribution of these slots are determined as such:



10. DISTRIBUTION OF SLOTS FOR NATIONALS

10.1 Slots will be distributed in order of finish in each division to those
participants who completed the minimum required number of Qualifier Series
Matches. Individuals who did not complete the required number of matches may
request a slot based on their overall position standings. All requests must
be in writing or by e-mail and submitted to the SC no later than two weeks
after the qualifier series final standings have been published.

10.2 A shooter receiving a slot may not directly pass the slot to another
shooter. Doing so will result in making both parties ineligible for earning
a slot via participating in the following year’s Section Qualifier Series.

10.3 If a shooter is eligible for a slot by any other means, they are not
eligible for a slot earned through the ECO Section Qualifier Series.

10.4 In the event all assigned slots are not distributed through the
Qualifier Series process, the SC shall make recommendations for their use.
All unused slots must be returned to USPSA.

10.5 Slots can only be assigned to ECO Section residents. ”Eastern Colorado
Section Resident” shall be defined as “A USPSA member in good standing whose
primary residence is within Colorado and who has participated in a minimum
of four ECO sanctioned matches during the previous calendar year.”

10.6 Any competitor failing to use a section slot, and failing to return
the slot to the SC insufficient time to be reassigned, will be required to
explain the circumstances in writing to the SC. The SC will present the
matter to the SEC and, after consideration of all attendant circumstances,
may impose restrictions on the competitor’s eligibility for future slots.

Slots from USPSA also should have gone out today to those individuals who
earned them based on their results at various Area matches or their 2025
Factory Gun Nationals finish. (You can see the list of those who earned
individual slots here: https://uspsa.org/earned/view/20/earned ) We had 2
from our section who earned their 2026 Factory Gun slots in this manner. In
addition, those who volunteer to work as staff for Nationals can also
receive a slot to shoot it. If you if you are interested in working/shooting
