Dear EcoTypes community, a note that we are migrating the website to a new server host over our winter break. This may result in small issues with the look of certain pages, including the EcoTypes survey, which we will incrementally fix.

We hope to keep absolute disruptions of site/survey access to a minimum, but will notify you if such disruptions are expected.

Feel free to notify me if you observe anything looking or behaving differently on the site, thank you.

Dear all, an update that we are still working with our new server host to transfer the EcoTypes website over this holiday break; I will promulgate on this Google Group any anticipated disruptions when we have a final schedule.

Some notes:
  • As you read below, there are some style issues that have recently affected the survey, especially using the sliders on a laptop. They will not go away until our site is moved, but the survey remains functional. Please remind your students of the Dec 2025 note they'll find at the very top of the first page: you may wish to demo how they should interpret the slider-based statement pairs.
  • If you anticipate giving your students the survey in early 2026 and have not already contacted me, please do so and I'll keep in special touch on any anticipated disruptions.
  • And again, a reminder that I can readily assign you a group code so that you can share (anonymized) data results with your students; just be in touch with your institution name and semester or term needed.
Regards,

Jim P.
