Invitation to Commencement 2026 (for 64th Convocation)

Dear Graduating students,

On behalf of the Institute, I am pleased to invite all graduating students to Commencement 2026, which will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, in the Institute's Convocation Hall.

Confirmation of attendance at Commencement 2026 needs to be submitted by filling out the registration details after logging in to the ASC portal, by 17th April, 2026. 

For the Morning Session, Students/Parents/Guests are requested to report at the Convocation Hall at 10:00 a.m. on 02nd May, 2026. The entry to the Convocation Hall will be closed at 10:40 a.m. sharp. Once the seats in the Convocation Hall are full, the Students/Parents/Guests will be advised to proceed to LHC (LA001/ LA 002)/ PC Saxena Auditorium and participate in the Morning Session by watching the live streaming of the event.

The Afternoon Session would start from 01.30 p.m. onwards, on 02nd May, 2026.

The detailed department-wise slot schedule shall be uploaded on the Academic webpage ( https://acad.iitb.ac.in/commencement ).

A rehearsal will be held in the Convocation Hall on 30th April 2026 to make you familiar with the system described above. Please do attend the same. Details of the Rehearsal will be put up on the Academic webpage ( https://acad.iitb.ac.in/commencement ), in due course.
