Subject: Spring Semester Schedule for APS/BPS presentation.

Following set of students are required to complete the APS/BPS presentation by 27 February 2026 without fail:

APS is to be presented by:

  • PhD students who have joined in Spring Semesters 2019-20 and later.

BPS is to be presented by:

  • PhD students who have joined in the Autumn Semester 2019-20 and earlier.

  • DDP students who have joined in the academic year 2018-19 and earlier.

The students who have proposed to present pre-synopsis instead of APS/BPS must complete it within this schedule.

Important points:

  • Extension for APS/BPS presentation will not be considered.

  • ONLY online reports will be accepted. The student shall initiate the online APS/BPS report prior to presentation and submit the report to his/her supervisor.

  • The online APS/BPS evaluation reports should be processed online through ASC by the Department and submitted to the PGAPEC within four days after presentation.

  • Any hard copy report received will be sent back to the student/department with a request to fill it online. In such cases, the date of online report submission will be considered as the APS/BPS presentation date. Applicable late fine will be levied automatically if the presentation/submission is delayed.

  • A detailed work plan for thesis submission must be submitted to the Academic Office by the students who have completed five years or more in the programme. This needs ratification of the RPC and the DPGC.

  • Students who have not completed the course work / department qualifier criterion (if applicable) for presentation of Progress Seminar in the first year, shall submit Part D, instead of Part C, given in the online APS form.
