Greetings all, I have just finished posting on the website the registration form for the 22nd SHO Convention and with the help of Mr. Steve Bates leading the local scouts we’re putting together some Mile High Mahem! For all those curious of the plan, here is the current plan and we’d welcome everyone to come join us!

Sunday is our traditional early bird day with dinner with the Mallinson at a popular local hot spot of Lodos Bar and Grill!
Monday is a partial registration day at our host hotel of The Doubletree by Hilton, Denver Tech in Greenwood Village, CO as we head over to Unser Racing; an Indoor Karting facility! On Monday’s the facility runs a $10 special. Following a few races to see who comes out on top, we’ll head over to the Shelby American Collection to check out some of the most famous Shelby American cars ever built. Then out of all the microbreweries in the area we’re going to do an inspection of one of them to make sure all the drinks are staying up to par.
Tuesday is our morning car show / registration at the host hotel along Ron Porter’s normal golf outing and Shooting Range group taking a few shots and swings at the local courses!
Wednesday we have arranged for High Plains Raceway to have an Open Lapping Day on our behalf! This not only lowers our costs because we don’t have to worry about insurance and all the rental costs, but allows us to enjoy the day a bit more as we take on the FULL 2.55 mile, 15 turn course!
Thursday we are working on driving directions to a number of nearby sites, one of the more favorite spots is Pikes Peak! With the altitude and narrow roads, there of course are concerns about going as a group, so we are working on seeing what is possible. Then we’ve got our banquet with a special custom helmet from the inner workings of Ford to auction off!
We have a few other events and surprises in the works as well, and they’ll be posted online as we lock them in!
Thank you all!
