Unibody is taking over thw world it seems (with the Honda Ridgeline as
an example). I grew up on a farm and I'll be disappointed the day I
won't be able to crawl under most any SUV or truck and thorw a chain
or strap around the frame to do some real work.
Should they go so far as to stay Haledex with the Explorer that will
seriously hit the towing rating I am pretty confident unless they have
other connecting hardware in mind for the driveline. EB is fine for
the power, just the tranny and AWD are what scares me and of course
the hitch point on the unibody but somehow Honda is pullign that off.

That will put them in the "80% of owners towing capacity" that they claim.
Not good enough for me, though.
Although the new F-150 have towing capability in my range. Except for the
beating that I give a truck, I would never buy a new one.
