  • Título: Impact of ICTs Training Program on Formal Employment: Experimental Evidence from the City of Buenos Aires
  • Abstract: We estimate the impact of an information and communication technologies (ICTs) training program on formal employment. In order to address potential endogeneity concerns, we exploit the random assignment to the program. We find that participation in the program decreases the probability of having a formal job. We explore potential underlying reasons to this unexpected result, and we find no evidence of individuals switching to the informal sector nor evidence of individuals motivated to follow further education
