Silence in the Rainforest, fighting to save the 50 hectares rainforest, wildlife and Indigenous peoples

Dear Sir Jon and EcoRestoration Members

Greetings peace and unity

As a member of the Eco Restoration Alliance, I had been silent for couple of months since I am always in the community to fight the real battle to save the 1000 hectares sacred forest, wildlife and the local indigenous peoples. The elders and leaders are worried because of the presence of the miners, loggers and other multinational monoculture farming that destroys our last home. 

We are worried for our rainforest, our culture, our young people and the rainforest as our last home if this will be destroyed by the outsiders. For this, we tried to apply donors and funders to acquire the 50 hectares sacred forest and communities for our Survival.

We applied to "This is My Earth" (TiME) headed by Sir Uri Salinas to help us purchase the 50 hectares for our future generation. By the Creator's grace we had been accepted as the pilot project in Asia to protect rainforest and indigenous peoples. Sir Uri came to our rainforest to visit and witness the intact rainforest for us to save.

For this, the "This is My Earth" (TiME) had fundraise 55,000 usd dollars to complete the purchase. Please see the link below.

Dear Eco-Warriors, in order for us to realize the rainforest protection and acquire the 50 hectares, we really need your support. By casting your votes and offer small donations for this project in the website Mount Sagyaan, Philippines, this will make a big difference.

We want to see more sacred rainforest to be protected and saved than seeing our last home being deforested and destroyed by miners. Our call for support is a desperate move to involve in this fight, but when overcome the battle then, this is not only for the indigenous peoples but the world as a whole.
