Hello friends,

Want to expand the commitment to water and landscape restoration in your community?

Consider bringing a friend or family or community member to our upcoming film club

Starting next Tuesday evening, film-maker Renea Roberts and I will host an on-line screening of, and dialogue about, her 5-part docuseries, Thinking Like Water, in partnership with Biodiversity for a Livable Climate.

This five-part docuseries captures Bill Zeedyk, a legendary and visionary water steward, as he applies simple, nature-based restoration methods across the American Southwest.

Over five weeks, we’ll see the inspiring impact of Native nations, ranchers, non-profits and communities collaborating with Bill to transform parched watersheds into lush, green, thriving landscapes.

What’s incredible about Thinking Like Water, is that it shows how any one, with a keen eye for observation and willingness to get their hands dirty, can do similar work.

Throughout our five weeks together I am also really keen to invite one or two practical actions that each of us can do each week to become water stewards in our own watersheds, and find ways to support each other.

I’ll be learning and doing right along with you.

See you soon!

All my best for 2026,

Katie
