RED ALERT: Call Your Senator — TODAY (202) 224-3121

Tomorrow, the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee will consider S.2554, a bill that would privatize 115,000 acres of the Tongass National Forest, including 80,000+ acres of old-growth rainforest, by transferring public land to newly created for-profit corporations.

This is a straight public-lands giveaway that would overturn long-standing protections, weaken the Roadless Rule, and put some of the last intact temperate rainforest on Earth at immediate risk of industrial logging.

If your Senator sits on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, your voice is especially critical.

📩 Call and Email the committee TODAY:forthe...@energy.senate.gov Urge them to oppose S.2554 and protect public lands, old growth forests, and public access.

Even if the hearing has already started, submit your opposition so it’s on the record.
