Imagine a community where degraded land becomes productive again.

Where children learn by leading, practicing peace building, growing food, and being informed.

Where women earn incomes through regenerative livelihoods, come together to learn from each other, make friends, and together build a community they want their children to grow in.

A community where a girl child is educated beyond the curriculum, learns to appreciate her value, to know her body, and to protect herself from all kinds of harm,  

Where refugees and host communities restore their land together, learn to protect the environment, learn permaculture, and learn the arts of maximizing resources while protecting the earth and caring for each other.

This is the future FOLONA has been building in Nakivale.

Today, we are excited to announce that our work has been selected for Ma Earth's global Funding Round 3, bringing together 100 community-led environmental projects from around the world.

Between July 1 and July 21, our supporters will have the opportunity to help us access significant matching funds that can multiply every contribution made during the campaign.

Before the campaign begins, we simply want to invite you to become part of this journey and help us share the word.
