Dear Friends,

Please join me in warmly congratulating Vijay Kumar and the team at Rythu Sadhikara Samstha (RySS), together with NOW Partners Foundation, on reaching a remarkable milestone. They have just completed the first year of piloting the Andhra Pradesh Community Managed Natural Farming (APCNF) model in Zambia - the very first successful implementation of this approach outside India.

In Andhra Pradesh, over 1 million smallholder farmers are already practicing APCNF - proving it works at scale. Now, in just one growing season, Zambian smallholder farmers have already seen higher yields, reduced costs, improved food security and greater climate resilience/

This is historic. APCNF is not only the world’s largest but also the most economically successful agroecology model. To see it adapted and thriving in Africa signals what is possible when regenerative approaches are shared, scaled, and rooted in local communities.

💡 RySS and NOW Partners are hosting a webinar to share pilot findings, strategies, and next steps in scaling this transformative model. Pls register and join their celebration.
