Dear ERA members wide and far:
A good portion of the weekly ERA Steering Committee/Board meetings over the last year have been devoted to the review of an updated version of the ERA's Bylaws. After hard work and discussion by our most excellent pro-bono attorney Syeda Nawroj and the Steering Committee/Board, we present to you (attached):
1. The ERA Board Meeting minutes of the meeting at which the board voted to advance to the ERA membership for your consideration the Amended and Revised Bylaws;
2. The said ERA Amended and Revised Corporate Bylaws; and
3. A Conflict of Interest Policy. This Policy applies to all directors, officers, employees, and volunteers working on behalf of the ERA. Its purpose is to ensure the best interests of the ERA are served by those acting on its behalf.
Our current plan is to review and discuss these at the March 5, 2025, Town Hall meeting (9pm ET), and unless any significant issues are raised, the Board will vote at its next meeting to approve them.
Meanwhile, questions and discussion are welcome either on this channel or to any of the board members.
Best regards,
-- Philip Bogdonoff, Secretary of the EcoRestoration Alliance, Inc.
