I can feel the frustration dripping from your piece; I commend you on your tenacity. I would also say that climate impact investing is a ruse to get more high tech solutions funded, ignoring the more obvious NbS. I fear that the new hype of
blended crediting will not provide any leeway with regards to the overly risk averse attitude of investors. Mind you, many of those are publisizing themselves as private sector investment while filling their funds with public sector money (bugger 'm - my tax
euros!!). Question is: how do we change this?
Only if investors are willing to lower their requirements with regards to due dilligence and prospected financial ROI, we might get somewhere. Can we find a way to rate impact investers on those criteria?
