Dear Members of the EcoRestoration Alliance,
The Board of Directors recently established three new standing committees to strengthen and expand our work. (Put in other terms, this is your chance to help lead our do-ocracy!)
Communications Committee Board Liaisons: Fred, Jon,
The Communications Committee develops, oversees and advises on ERA’s internal and external communications strategies, to align with the organization's mission, values, and goals. The committee will focus on the effective dissemination of information to stakeholders, including members, donors, volunteers, partners, the media, and the public, to enhance the visibility and impact of ERA’s work.
Development Committee: Board Liaisons: Eston, Fred, Philip, Ana, Jon, Diana
The Development Committee supports the fundraising and resource development efforts of the ERA. It works with the Board of Directors and staff to develop, implement, and oversee strategies to generate financial support for the organization through donor cultivation, grant procurement, events, and other fundraising activities.
Membership Committee: Board Liaisons: Coakee, Ananda, Jon
The Membership Committee oversees and manages the recruitment, retention, and engagement of members in alignment with the ERA’s mission and goals. It works to maintain a strong, diverse, and engaged membership base that supports its operations, programs, and initiatives.
Each committee includes at least one member of the Board as an initial participant, and we are now inviting additional ERA Members. This is a great opportunity to contribute your skills and ideas, help shape the future of our work, and connect more deeply with others who share your passion for ecosystem restoration.
Whether your strengths lie in outreach, fundraising, community-building, or strategic thinking, there's a place for you. We welcome your participation and invite you to consider serving on one or more of these committees. We anticipate the time requirement to be 2-4 hours per month.
You will get to know your fellow ERA members and develop other skills and experience that will help you advance your own work.
