Friends -- I so look forward to celebrating Christmas with you all. I know that some of you will be elsewhere on Christmas Eve -- you will be missed. Travel safely and enjoy your time away.

A reminder: Christmas Eve Eucharist is at 5 pm on Saturday. The 22nd Ward Choir is coming to sing and worship with us so the evening will be very special.

. Our celebration on Sunday, Christmas Day, is at 10 am as usual. And New Year's Day we'll celebrate at 10 am on Sunday, Jan 1.

As we get together with friends and family, for good food and gift giving, please keep in your prayers those among us who have lost loved ones this year: Chuck Stephenson's mother Edna died on Dec 19. Her funeral will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ogden on Friday at 11am. Chuck Allison lost his father and  Greg Putz's sister Tina died this year. I'm sure there are others who are grieving as they remember celebrations of years past.

Remember also those who are struggling financially, physically and emotionally.

We are blessed to be part of a loving community of faith. Pray for those who are alone this Christmas.

The Church Office will be closed between Christmas and Jan 2. If you need to get hold of me, please call me on my cell phone: 801-808-4142.

May God bless you all and brighten your hearts and homes with joy and love.
