Diocesan Convention -- St. James, Midvale --  October 14-15
The clergy and wardens of Resurrection will be attending, along with the delegates elected at last January's annual meeting. Jeani Allison and Karl Petersen were elected delegates, but unfortunately now cannot attend due to work schedule conflicts. Paul Calef was elected and will be attending. Alternate delegates who will serve as part of our delegation this year: Chuck Stephenson and Joan Neinke. Thanks to the wardens for representing us and those willing to serve as delegates!
 
The convention begins with workshops on Friday, Oct 14. All are welcome to attend those workshop and convention. However, you need to be registered through the church office, and include $50 check with that registration by September 20. Attached  are the workshop descriptions. The Parables for Today -- Book study begins Wed, Sept 21, 9:30 am
If you would like to join our lively book study, please let Lyn know by Saturday, Sept 10 and she will order you a book. The book costs $12. Your book will be delivered and available at church on Sept 18 (although Lyn will be out of town that Sunday).
 
Next Dean of the Cathedral of St. Mark elected
The Rev. Ray Waldon has been elected dean of the Cathedral. He and his wife will be moving to Utah from Alabama very soon.
