1) Journey with Jesus, 3 pm  -- not just for kids and their families! Anyone of course is welcome. Bring any friend you'd like to bring with you. If you are planning on bringing extra kids, however, just drop me a line, so I make sure I've got enough "props" for everyone. Thanks to our "eyewitnesses"  --- Kathy Dennis, Sunshine O'Meara, Robin Eskridge, Toni Marie Sutliff, Wim Ray and Lynnae Ray.

2) Palm Sunday Passion Reading ---- read from wherever you're seated (except for the Narrator at the pulpit) Your script will be on the bench outsid the sanctuary for you with your name on it.

Thanks to those who volunteered for this reading. The rest of us will be "the crowd".

3) Palm Sunday worship: Announcements will be at the beginning of the service, as we gather for the blessing of the palms. Following the reading of the Passion, there is no sermon, but silence. the service then becomes very solemn. When we exchange the Peace, we'll simply exchange the peace with the persons right next to us, rather than those all around the church, and then move immediately into the offertory. Following the blessing, there is no dismissal, no postlude, no coffee hour. We leave the church, to gather again for worship on Maundy Thursday. I know it will feel awkward --- but it marks the beginning of Holy Week for us as something different, something to really grab our attention. It will make our celebration of Easter all that much more joyous!!!!
