Facts and Trends & Pathways to 2050 now available in Chinese

Geneva, 22 May 2007 - Two of the WBCSD's most successful publications
on energy and climate are now available in Chinese. 'Facts and Trends
to 2050' provides an overview of key facts and societal challenges
related to economic development, future energy demand and the impact
that demand could have on the climate system. 'Pathways to 2050'
builds on Facts and Trends to 2050 and provides a more detailed
overview of potential pathways to reducing CO2 emissions.

Bringing Hope to AIDS Orphans in Africa: Novartis

Geneva, 21 May 2007 - As the AIDS pandemic ravages sub-Saharan
Africa, the deadly disease has left behind more than 15 million
orphans - children who have lost one or both parents to AIDS and for
whom too little has been done. Novartis is providing psychosocial
support for these orphans.

Business Walking the Talk on Energy and Climate

Bonn, Germany, 16 May 2007 - A quantifiable, long-term (50-year) goal
for the management of global GHG emissions must be established as soon
as possible by governments in consultation with business, the
scientific community and civil society, the World Business Council for
Sustainable Development (WBCSD) argued at the United Nations Framework
Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) meetings.

Membership Principles for Sustainable Forest Product Companies
