Chevron and Weyerhaeuser Team Up for Biofuels Alliance

set by 21 US states and the District of Colombia will avoid 108
million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions by 2020, according the

Spain's Iberdrola agrees to buy US wind power firm CPW

AFP, 11 April 2007 - Iberdrola, Spain's second-biggest
electricity provider, said Wednesday it had agreed to buy the US wind

firm CPV Wind Ventures, boosting its renewable energy business.
