Here's an example notification email from askbot (which is part of the KnowledgePoint project I'm working on). Compared to econsensus notifications, I think this makes it easier to understand the structure of the conversation. Haha, if only I had the time! Thought it was a good example of what could be done though - I know I find it difficult to follow the progress of the tree of text items in econsensus in the notification emails. I don't think econsensus even sends out html emails does it?
