I speculate the next boom would be in the area where analytics is used for some conventional decision making and finding new and meaningful insights.

Next thing is m-commerce for sure.
And the play around it

We are working on something very exciting related to the same.

Hi

I work in an analytics firm and  as part of my work, I found that most of the companies are shifting to data based decision approaches.
Hence you will find a lot of companies have come up that sell data. But people are needed to make sense of the data.

Most of them offer free data but has limited info. For richer, companies need to buy premium accounts. Quandl is an example of the kind of data that companies now offer https://www.quandl.com/. It was started by an IIT-Bombay alumnus.

Besides this, mobile based marketing platform is another upcoming field. It is expected that laptops will be replaced by tablets which shall be eventually replaced by mobiles. Hence most companies now have presence in m-commerce market. In US, most of the things can be done using mobile apps starting from shopping to payments.

Thanks
Nitin

Apart from this, world wide next trend would be in tech industry , 3D printing. Its application will revolutionize everything. And May hamper Chinese export as well.

The Industry will rose more than 1 trillion dollars.

What do you think guys ?
