I'm also an undergraduated student on Economics and econometricaholic!
:-)

Well, I'm also worried about how people are exploring econometrics
without any care. I've already been to a big congress, and the papers
presentation all have, at least, a linear regression model. However, I
didn't find any attention about the many tests that prove the
assumptions that were made about the model...

My ressearch ate the moment is about the many approaches of time-series
forecasting and their effectiveness to right predicting...

Nice to hear from u Raquel.

As u know, we are still not reached in consensus on topics and manner
we intend to proceed.

I think the responsibility should sholder each member to make lively
discussions. At least one msg should posted on rotation basis in the
topics each one us engaged
