Dear All,
Can anyone share some resources on Coase Theorem - videos et al.. I looked on Dirk Mateer's website and the link does not work. Elsewhere I have not found much of consequence.
Last weekend was great.
Thanks all
Best

Frank's Microeconomics and Behavior lays out Coase (1960) extremely well. And as Coase himself has told us - there is no theorem there. We have Stigler to blame for that claim.

Dear Simanti,
Trust Raja to "throw a book" your way. Jokes aside, I thought you may want to check out this video on Coase (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcPRmh5AIrI ). You could improve on it (or use it). There are some really fascinating things going on in the comments below the video. One could imagine asking students to find a couple of comments that resonated with them or even writing their own. Would make for a great discussion.
But this one, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7jdvnSm48nY), made by students, is a classic! Its not the greatest production, but it shows students taking charge of their understanding. Watching it made me think of an assignment for principles of economics. "Take one economics concept or idea and produce a short video on it."
