Fwd: DSE Workers’ Fundraiser | Round III

Dear batchmates,

We hope you and your family are safe and healthy. Covid-19 has been jolting Delhi and every day starts with the misery of the previous one. There is no need to introduce why this fundraiser has started again. We wrapped up Round 2 of the Fundraiser in November 2020. We are starting Round 3 now, after 6 months. We have decided to resume this since many students, professors and beneficiaries have been reaching out to us with their concerns. And so, we want to help.

After Prem ji’s death last year, we have lost another really important person from the canteen - Chandran anna - on Saturday (2nd May 2021). 

So, here is the agenda: 

We will be raising funds for all 15 families. We do not have a fixed target this time. Neither do we have a sense of how many months we can support the families. Both these factors are contingent on the money we receive.

We know money is one of the essential commodities for survival, especially in medical emergencies. 

As soon as we start getting an estimate of how much we are receiving, we will display a breakdown of how many months we can help all the beneficiaries sustain. This time the pandemic is a long haul.
