This is what I put for Heineke's evaluation  ;)

Please indicate those characteristics of the course/instructor which have been most valuable to your learning experience.

Very enthusiastic about subject matter.  Extremely smart and knowledgeable. Makes himself available if students need help.  Interesting and a nice guy.

Please indicate aspect of this course/instructor that most needed to be improved.

EXTREMELY confusing and convoluted.  Tries to cram too much material, without regard for students' retention.  Provides very little feedback in the form of solutions to either past problems, our own assignments, or even midterms.

Even after Heineke would go over a homework solution in class, it was still unclear whether I got it correctly or incorrectly and why.

In his mind, assignments and tests represent real world problems.  In actuality, even what's being asked is unclear.

Uses vague (e.g. "comment on") language while expecting a quantitative answer.

Notes (which do not mirror the textbook) were absolutely useless for learning.  They could only be used as reference if one already understood the material.
