Italian Government Scholarships Call for applications Academic Year 2014/2015. Deadline: May 28th 2014.
The Italian Government awards scholarships for studying in Italy both to foreign citizens and Italian citizens resident abroad (IRE). Scholarships can be awarded only for study/ research projects at institutions within the Italian public education and research system (state universities and research centres or legally accredited private institutions), following the approval of a selection committee.
It is only possible to apply for three, six, or nine month scholarships. Exceptions can be made for courses for teachers of Italian language (see below at 3H).
Specific information is provided by the Italian Embassy or Italian Cultural Institute in the applicant’s country of citizenship. Please check the websites of these institutions for more country-specific information.
Knowledge of Italian Language: applicants will need a certificate of intermediate level Italian (e.g. CILS B2, CELI 3, PLIDA B2 or INT.IT Roma Tre) or equivalent linguistic competence issued by a local organization or language school (e.g. Italian Cultural Institute, Dante Alighieri Society branch etc.). Applicants for enrolment in advanced vocational training, art and music courses or University courses held entirely in English, must have at least an A2 level of competence.
Age limits: applicants who are under age (younger than 18) or older than 35 on the day of the deadline for the submission of the applications (see below) are not eligible.

Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are internationally competitive, merit-based scholarships provided by the Australian Government that support citizens of the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research and professional development programmes in Australia and for Australians to undertake these programmes overseas. VLIR-UOS scholarships
VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from 54 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin-America, to follow a training or master programme at a Flemish university or university college in Belgium. The training and master programmes are taught in English. They are designed to enable graduates to assume positions of responsibility in their country of origin.
How to apply for a scholarship:

The deadline for applications is determined by the programme. Check the list of eligible programmes 2014 to find out which calls for scholarships are currently open.
You can apply for a scholarship by following the guidelines for application on the website of the training or master programme of your interest.
In case of doubt, please contact the training or master programme.

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship after the founder of Sciences Po (1871) in order to welcome the very best international students from outside of the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.
Eligible students are those, first time applicants, from a non-European Union state, whose household does not file taxes within the European Union, and who have been admitted to the Undergraduate or Master's programme.

Ghent University - Grants for students from developing countries
Ghent University provides Master Grants to candidates from developing countries who wish to obtain a master’s degree at Ghent University. The grants are available for 19 master programmes at Ghent University. They are awarded for the duration of the studies with a maximum of 2 years. In case of a two-year-programme the scholarship will only be paid for the full term if the student successfully completes the first year of the programme. The scholarship consists of an allowance of 1000 euro per month, an installation fee of 500€ and a refund of the yearly tuition fee with a maximum of 80€.
Next deadline will probably be December 2013 (new students) and May 2014 (students with admission).

To facilitate access to Master’s degrees by students with qualifications from foreign universities, the University of Lausanne makes available around ten Master’s grants which are awarded on a competitive basis.
Required conditions
•The candidate must be the holder of a degree from a foreign university.
•The qualification held by the candidate must be deemed equivalent to the UNIL Bachelor’s degree.
